The old asbestos roof looked terrible
This a closeup of hard dry moss, it was growing within the asbestos slate tiles.
The first half of this roof was so clean it disappeared.
They chose a color lighter than slate, which caused it to look like a tile roof.
This is an aerial photo, The roof just wouldn’t show up in any photo from the ground.
